Michel aimait à dire que ses compositions étaient des chansons. Faire un portrait musical comme un tracé de sa vie par ceux qui étaient les plus imprégnés de sa personnalité et les plus proches : Nathalie et Philippe concrétisent là le souhait si cher à Michel d'écrire des paroles sur sa musique. Nathalie réalise ce rêve qu'elle avait elle aussi depuis longtemps et comme elle l'écrit et le chante : « son âme nous est offerte ». Après avoir accompagné souvent son frère de sa guitare, le répertoire, Philippe, il le connaît ! Il a choisi avec Nathalie les morceaux qu'ils ont les plus aimés, de I Just Say Hello (Une vie), une de ses premières compositions, à Looking Up (Les étoiles), très appréciée du grand public. Le quartet habituel et complice avec Dominique Di Piazza à la basse (remplacé ici par Michel Zenino à la contrebasse sur certains titres), Manhu Roche à la batterie, Philippe Petrucciani à la guitare et Nathalie Blanc, présents dans le dernier album Este Mundo, devient avec Fabrizio Bosso à la trompette et au bugle, Stefano Cantini aux saxophones ténor et alto ainsi que Franscesco Castellani au trombone le septet dont le chef d'orchestre Philippe Petrucciani a arrangé la musique de Michel avec lacollaboration de Philippe Festou.

Michel liked to say that his compositions were songs. To make a musical portrait as a layout of his life by those who were most imbued with his personality and the closest: Nathalie and Philippe concretize there the wish so dear to Michel to write lyrics on his music. Nathalie realizes this dream that she too had long ago and as she writes and sings: "her soul is offered to us." The usual quartet and complicit with Dominique Di Piazza on bass (replaced here by Michel Zenino on double bass on certain tracks), Manhu Roche on drums, Philippe Petrucciani on guitar and Nathalie Blanc, present in the last album Este Mundo, becomes with Fabrizio Bosso on trumpet and bugle, Stefano Cantini on tenor and alto saxophones and Franscesco Castellani on trombone on septet, whose conductor Philippe Petrucciani arranged the music of Michel with the collaboration of Philippe Festou.
